Where is Backstage Dance Studio located?
Our Conroe location is located at 2525 Creekmire Court, Conroe, TX 77304 (off of Longmire Road between 336 North and 3083) and our Montgomery location is located at 18932 Freeport Drive, Montgomery, TX 77356 (right off of Hwy 105 West and Walden road near the Montgomery Walmart)
What age can my child start dance classes?

At Backstage Dance Studio, we offer dance classes in Conroe and Montgomery, TX starting at age 2. Our classes technique, confidence, and a love for dance.
What programs do you offer throughout the year?

We offer a variety of dance programs throughout the year to fit different schedules and goals:

Fall–Spring Dance Season (August–May): Our main dance program, with weekly classes and a year-end recital for many classes.

Summer Session (June–July): An 8-week session that’s perfect for trying new styles, staying active, or getting a feel for dance before the full season.

Summer Camps and Intensives: We offer themed camps and summer intensives for different age groups, including options for younger dancers, beginners, and more advanced students.
What types of dance classes do you offer?
We offer ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre, pointe, aero and tumbling, leaps/turns and additional technique classes. Younger dancers typically begin in combo classes that introduce multiple styles.
Do you offer classes for beginners?
Yes, we offer beginner classes at every age level, and no prior experience is required.​​
How do I register for classes at Backstage Dance Studio?
Registration is completed online through our website. Once you create a Parent Portal account, you can view class options and enroll directly.

Can we join after the season has started?
Yes. We accept new enrollments throughout the season (typically through mid-January) based on class availability.

How do I know which class is right for my child?
We guide placement based on age and experience, and our teachers confirm the best fit after the first few classes if needed.

What is the Parent Portal?
The Parent Portal is where you can enroll in classes, manage your account, update billing, and stay connected with studio updates.
What should my child wear to class?
Each class has a specific dress code to support safety and technique. Details are provided after registration and available on our website under the "Rates and Policies" page.
What happens if my child misses a class?

You can report absences and schedule a makeup class through the Parent Portal.
When is tuition charged and how does billing work?
Monthly tuition fee installment is processed automatically each month using the payment method on file, making enrollment simple and consistent.

Do you offer trial classes?
We do not offer trial classes, as it may take a few classes for dancers to fully get comfortable with the class and instructor. However, if a class is not the right fit, our team will help guide you to find an option that works for your dancer.
Is there a recital or performance?
Yes. Many classes participate in our annual spring recital, giving dancers the opportunity to perform and celebrate their progress. We also have annual performances of The Nutcracker and our competition teams, Backstage Company and Backstage Dance Club for dancer interested in additional performance opportunities.
